The Careers Brief is suitable for year 11 pupils capable of obtaining one or more A level passes or equivalent. The paper-based questionnaire uses 300 interest questions which pupils usually complete in 35-40 minutes. The resulting workbook or 'Report' contains careers suggestions to be investigated, Career Checks to be completed, an Action Plan, Careers Analysis Forms and a Year 12 Subject Selection and Availability Chart which points the way to appropriate AS/A level or equivalent choices.

Careers Brief is delivered with a copy of The Careers Directory for each pupil (free of additional charge). The school also receives a copy of the WorkBrief CD-ROM.
