We have pleasure in confirming details of our latest regional meeting for careers teachers and education advisers in the South West at Dauntsey’s School on Tuesday 21st May and hope you will be able to join us.

STEM Careers: We clearly need more people in the workforce with high level scientific and mathematical skills, but many young people have a rather restricted view of what a science career involves. STEM Ambassadors aim to inspire them by showing how varied and challenging such careers can be. At the COA South West Regional Meeting you can meet two Ambassadors, both engineers, and be inspired yourself.

The meeting will commence at 11.30 and finish at 16.00. It will start with an open forum in which those present can share ideas and exchange examples of good practice, followed by lunch at 13.00 and then at 14.00 there will be a presentation by our speakers. You can join us for part of the day if you wish, please let us know.
